little bits

sort of updates:

*work is totally kicking my butt lately so I leave with less than zero energy but still have been making poms! and baking like a crazy person (tonight I made chocolate banana bread and crackle cookies). at this point I have just been making the yarn poms but as soon as I get into the groove of them and get cocky and go super fast, I screw them up. Note to self: stop thinking you are the pom-master.

* as mentioned before, my hair is getting crazy long. So I have been experimenting with it. I did some side braids, etc and wore my hair like this to work today (um don't mind my crazy split ends and frizz):

(image via Ryan's iphone....i really wanted to take a picture of me winking at the camera too then i remembered how ridiculous i look when i wink and how for some reason i always have my mouth open too)

in conclusion, it took about 5 minutes to do and everyone at work was all "ooooohh" (lets just say I usually put less than zero effect into my hair on a normal basis) and everyone was like 'is this your wedding hair?"....hmmmm maybe?

*I really need to stop looking at wedding images but here is a new one I have fallen for:

  1. Oh I so wish I could braid my hair! It looks great.

You could use tall water glasses to make those - can get them cheap everywhere.

  4. Oooo I wish I could do a braid like that. I love it! Also, I have been doing this lace thing with recycled bottles I find around the house: jars, beer bottles, snapples, etc. It looks good on everything. I got my lace from the DI (an old curtain).
